Description Aufine AF77
The Aufine AF77 truck tire is designed for use on the steering axle of long-haul tractors and tourist-class buses. In these specific conditions, this model demonstrates excellent handling, short braking distance, excellent fuel efficiency, and a long service life. Also, it's worth noting the extremely attractive cost of this tire, the characteristics of which are at a very high level, even compared to similar tire products from leading global brands.
Wide tread pattern
A significant part of the excellent traction properties of this model is provided by a symmetrical non-directional tread pattern, which is distinguished by very large contact patch sizes. They were achieved through an original design that contains a minimal number of individual elements, which made them as wide as possible. We are talking about five longitudinal ribs separated by drainage grooves.
In addition to improved traction properties, such a design gives the tire a number of other important qualities. First and foremost, it's excellent directional stability and high handling agility. They are achieved due to the absence of individual elements in the design of all five longitudinal ribs, which makes them very resistant to dynamic deformation, giving the tire the above-mentioned qualities.
High braking efficiency
The reduction in the number of individual tread elements does not prevent this model from demonstrating excellent braking efficiency. It is achieved through numerous lamellas that are located on two of the three longitudinal ribs in the central part of the tread. During movement, they form a multitude of transverse engagement edges, thanks to which the tire has a very short braking distance, especially in adverse weather conditions.
Main features of the Aufine AF77 tire
- the tire is designed for the steering axle;
- five longitudinal ribs improve directional stability;
- a rigid longitudinal rib in the center increases the speed and accuracy of the driver's command execution, optimizes the distribution of external pressure on the contact patch, reduces rolling resistance;
- reinforced shoulder areas make the grip more stable and reliable, increase resistance to uneven wear, as well as carrying capacity.
