The Atlander ATL801 commercial tire is designed for use on load-carrying axles of trailer equipment used for transporting extremely heavy loads. It is recommended for installation on trailers with a lowered cargo platform. It is characterized by high load-carrying capacity and strength, reduced rolling resistance and heat generation, and stable traction on dry and wet surfaces.
The tire features an increased tread width and its profile with a nearly flat central part and rounded shoulder zones. This design increases the contact patch, optimizing the distribution of load on the road surface. This noticeably reduces wear, increasing course stability while towing, reducing rolling resistance and heat generation. The central and pair of shoulder ribs are highly rigid, which further enhances these properties. Numerous lamellas provide intense braking on wet surfaces, and wide longitudinal grooves in such conditions effectively prevent aquaplaning.
