Tread Contact Patch Control System

The entire tread surface is a high-density network of lamellas with different orientations. Each lamella acts as an independent cutting edge, instantly responding to longitudinal and transverse loads.

When braking and accelerating on wet asphalt, the differently oriented elements create a "micro-grip" effect, greatly increasing the friction force and reducing the braking distance.

Four continuous longitudinal grooves combined with frequent transverse grooves form a high-performance hydroevacuation network. It is designed for efficient removal of a large volume of water, ensuring stable resistance to aquaplaning even when fully loaded and at high speeds.

The tread profile is designed to form the widest and most stabilized contact patch, close to a rectangular geometry. This solution ensures even pressure distribution. Critically important at high weight loads, it prevents local overheating and accelerated, uneven wear.

Compound for Limit Loads

It is based on a specially developed high-strength compound. Its polymer matrix with reinforcing fillers resists wear on asphalt, providing a record-breaking mileage for the class. The construction and composition of the rubber itself increase resistance to punctures and cuts from curbs and road debris, as well as prevent the formation of fatigue microcracks. The composition maintains optimal elasticity and adhesion properties over a wide range of temperature regimes.
