The commercial tire Athos HG2202 is designed for prolonged and intensive operation in high-capacity buses. It is recommended for installation on any axle. It is effective both on suburban and regional routes and on high-speed highways.
The tread of the tire is made of a rubber compound that, in addition to wear resistance, is also characterized by increased heat conductivity. This reduces the heating of the tire, especially during prolonged movement at high speeds, thereby reducing rolling resistance. This solution made it possible to increase the number of layers of steel cord in the carcass. As a result, the tire can boast not only increased load capacity but also impact resistance.
