Armstrong Tru-Trac AT

The name of the Armstrong Tru-Trac AT tyre directly reflects its key purpose — versatility in use on both asphalt and dirt roads. The model is designed for SUVs and pickups that require a combination of everyday comfort, high directional stability, and reliable grip on various surfaces.

Universal tread pattern for different types of surfaces

The tread pattern is distinguished by a zigzag shape of the longitudinal grooves, which effectively clean the contact patch from water, mud, and small stones. This allows the tyre to work confidently not only on dry and wet asphalt but also on dirt roads. The central blocks have an interconnected design and are supplemented with inclined working edges, which increases the vehicle's stability when moving on uneven surfaces and makes the reactions to steering more accurate. This solution allows for a balance between performance on dirt surfaces and comfort during everyday driving on asphalt.

Durable construction for high stability

One of the key features is the reinforced carcass, designed for use in challenging road conditions. The stiffness of the construction helps to maintain the shape of the contact patch when driving at high speeds and reduces tread deformation under load. This has a positive effect on directional stability, steering accuracy, and predictability of the vehicle's behavior. The optimized distribution of pressure across the working surface also plays an additional role, allowing for a reduction in wear intensity.

Comfort and durability in everyday use

The blocks at the edges of the tread and in its central part are arranged in such a way that when driving, they form composite P-shaped elements. This solution reduces uneven wear, noise levels, and vibrations, while also increasing the stability of the traction properties and steering accuracy, maintaining high traction properties on dirt surfaces.

Key features of the Armstrong Tru-Trac AT:

- The zigzag shape of the longitudinal grooves increases the intensity of water and dirt removal from under the tyre;
- The composite longitudinal rib in the central part increases steering accuracy and traction stability on asphalt;
- The reinforced carcass improves handling, providing resistance to mechanical damage on rough roads;
- The composite P-shaped blocks reduce uneven wear, extending the service life and maintaining driving comfort when maneuvering.
