New tread pattern
The massive tread pattern provides the tire with excellent operational characteristics. The special arrangement of the blocks made it possible to increase the contact patch, which contributed to improved handling. The massive lugs have increased the passability and grip of the tire with any road surface. The central continuous part of the tread has provided excellent directional stability and quick feedback. Deep massive channels between the blocks quickly remove water, dirt, and snow from the contact patch, increasing self-cleaning. The increased tread height of up to 80 millimeters has ensured an extended service life of the tire.
Special additives in the rubber compound
When developing the rubber compound of the Armour L5, new additives were used that allowed maintaining elasticity during sharp temperature fluctuations. Therefore, you can control the handling of your vehicle in any weather. Special components have made it possible to increase the wear resistance of the tread, especially when operating in difficult road conditions (on construction sites). The optimally arranged tread blocks and the new rubber compound have made it possible to significantly reduce the rolling resistance, which has a positive effect on fuel economy.
Reinforced carcass
Since the tire is constantly subjected to maximum loads and is used in difficult conditions, it was decided to reinforce the carcass. When manufacturing the carcass, a special ring and high-strength cord were used. Due to this, the model is distinguished by its reliability and resistance to loads. The maximum load on the tire is 10900 kilograms. The reinforced carcass and massive blocks in the shoulder area provide improved protection against possible damage and punctures.
