Description Armour L-2
Armour L-2 — an industrial design created to operate in conditions where regular tires fail in just a few shifts. The model is focused on construction equipment operated on problematic soils, with a constant risk of mechanical damage and increased axle loads.
Maximum Traction
The basis is a tread pattern with massive, high ground-gripping lugs. Their geometry and height are calculated to provide effective self-cleaning from loose rocks. It is this feature that gives the equipment passability where skidding begins. In addition, the significant height of the blocks acts as protection. The elements absorb impacts, preventing damage to the frame.
Wear Resistance Formula
The tire compound contains reinforced polymer additives. This provides increased resistance to wear when working on abrasive surfaces. As a result, the service life is significantly longer than the average indicators in the class.
Stability and Balance
Due to the profiling of the tread, it was possible to expand the contact patch without critically increasing the rolling resistance. What does this give in practice:
- increased stability of the equipment when exposed to lateral loads;
- equal distribution of pressure over the entire working surface;
- slow, predictable wear without local block damage.
This is especially important for wheel loaders, backhoe loaders, and dump trucks operating in high-load conditions.
Main Features of Armour L-2:
- compatible with a wide range of construction equipment (front loaders, telehandlers, mini excavators);
- lug-type ground-gripping lugs provide confident traction in any conditions — from wet clay to sandy-gravel mix;
- wear-resistant compound and block height form effective protection against punctures, cuts, and wear, which directly increases the service life.
