The Aplus A606 summer tire is designed for compact and medium-sized passenger cars. It is characterized by confident behavior on wet surfaces and in corners, stability at high speeds, and a reduced noise level.
Stable behavior on wet surfaces
A significant part of the tread pattern is dedicated to the drainage system elements. First and foremost, these are the longitudinal grooves in the central part, which have a large internal volume. This allows the tread to maintain its resistance to aquaplaning at high speeds. At the same time, the zigzag shape of the longitudinal grooves significantly accelerates the water drainage process, and on dry surfaces, it prevents the occurrence of resonant noises and vibrations.
Multifunctional lamellas
The tire tread contains numerous lamellas. Due to their location and shape, these elements have expanded functionality. The lamellas, when in contact with the road surface, form a large number of high and sharp edges that easily penetrate the water film, directing it to the nearby drainage groove, and allowing the tire to reliably grip the wet surface. Additionally, such lamellas significantly reduce uneven wear and give the tire's ride an additional softness, providing the blocks in which they are cut with limited mobility.
