Antares Grip 60 ice 225/65 R17 102S

The winter tire Antares Grip 60 Ice was specially designed for the countries of Northern Europe and Canada. Taking into account the climate features of these regions, a tire product was created that is perfectly adapted to operation in difficult conditions.

Arrow-shaped blocks in the center of the tread

The central longitudinal rib of this tread contains a multitude of individual arrow-shaped blocks connected by wide ties. Such a design gives the tire several important advantages - increased accuracy in handling, directional stability at high speed. Additionally, fuel efficiency and resistance to uneven wear are improved.

Improved traction on snow and ice

The open design of this tread pattern remains on other parts of it, including the shoulder areas. The presence of a large number of individual blocks provides the tire with increased traction on snowy surfaces. In turn, the wave-like lamellas cut into them, arranged in different directions, improve the traction properties on rolled snow and ice. They can be further increased in case of installation of studs, for which special mounting holes are provided on the tread.
