Description Annaite 386
The Annaite 386 cargo tire is distinguished, first and foremost, by a very specific scope of application. The fact is that this model is designed for operation on any axes of trucks used in the construction industry, as well as in other industries where cargo transportation is accompanied by movement on poor roads. That's why the strong features of this tire are excellent traction properties on soils with reduced carrying capacity.
Tread pattern not only for asphalt
It's not hard to guess about the specific scope of application of this model if you look at its symmetrical non-directional pattern. It is characterized by an open design containing a large number of individual blocks spaced at a significant distance from each other. Thanks to this, the contact patch has a significant number of traction edges at any given time, which allows the Annaite 386 tire to feel confident in any conditions, including off-road.
In this regard, it is impossible not to note the design of the shoulder areas. They contain a large number of double blocks spaced at a significant distance from each other. During movement, they form very long transverse traction edges, allowing the tire to grip almost any soil surface. At the same time, the large distance between these tread elements allows it to quickly clean itself even from large soil particles, which, in turn, ensures stable traction properties off-road.
Reduced rolling resistance
The above-mentioned design of the shoulder areas of the tread leads to a significant increase in rolling resistance. Partly this is offset by the arrangement of the traction edges at a significant angle to the direction of movement. However, it was the design of the shoulder areas that had a much greater impact on fuel efficiency. It contains a large number of very massive blocks. In order to reduce rolling resistance, they are located very close to each other, and most of their edges are inclined, besides, all their corners were rounded. All these design features allowed to significantly improve the fuel efficiency indicators.
Main features of the Annaite 386 tire
- the tire was developed specifically for trucks and other special equipment operated in the construction industry;
- the symmetrical non-directional tread pattern is optimized for operation on soil surfaces with low carrying capacity;
- low rolling resistance due to the original design of the central longitudinal rib, consisting of many very massive blocks spaced at a minimum distance from each other;
- excellent cross-country ability due to the increased depth of the tread pattern, the large distance between the blocks of the shoulder areas, as well as the very long transverse traction edges formed by them during movement.
