The commercial tire Advance GL293D is installed on the drive axle of highway tractors and other equipment used in transportation. It is adapted to operate in adverse conditions. It is characterized by increased resistance to mechanical damage and traction properties on slippery and dirt roads.
Longitudinal rib in the center
A distinctive feature of the tread pattern design is the presence of a solid longitudinal rib that runs exactly along its center. This element, having high resistance to deformation under the influence of multidirectional acceleration forces, improves directional stability. At the same time, the narrow slits in this rib not only make the grip on wet surfaces more reliable, but also smooth out sharp changes in traction force, making it easier to control the vehicle.
Wide shoulder blocks
The shoulder areas of the tread have an open design. They contain numerous blocks grouped in pairs. As a result, the length of the transverse edges formed by them is doubled. This significantly enhances the effectiveness of the tire when accelerating and braking, especially on surfaces with a reduced coefficient of friction. At the same time, the presence of not one, but two closely spaced blocks optimizes the distribution of external load on the contact patch, which prevents uneven wear.
