Description Advance GL278A
The commercial tire Advance GL278A is used on the steering axle of highway tractors and large-capacity trucks. It is designed for operation on both high-speed highways and narrow regional roads. It is characterized by precise handling, reliability when braking on a wet surface, fuel efficiency, and an extended service life.
The tire has a all-steel carcass. It not only increases the carrying capacity but also allows the tread to be retreaded, increasing the life of the tire. The tread pattern is abundant with straight lamellas with an increased length of edges due to the inclination. This solution significantly improves the braking efficiency, especially on wet surfaces. The slots are made in solid longitudinal ribs. Deformation-resistant elements improve handling accuracy, high-speed stability, reduce fuel consumption, and prevent rapid tread wear.
