Description Accelus RAC55
The Accelus RAC55 tire is a commercial tire designed for installation on a wide range of trucks. It is characterized by its versatility in application throughout the year, providing efficient traction and braking properties.
The model was developed using advanced modeling technologies, which created a four-rib tread. Its central zone features two solid ribs with unidirectional sipes. This solution improved directional stability while minimizing lateral deviations and optimizing traction characteristics. In combination with shoulder elements, a large contact patch is formed, ensuring even pressure distribution. This results in reduced load per unit area and increased load-carrying capacity.
Two lateral grooves, in direct contact with the environment through connections with shoulder zone grooves, facilitate rapid evacuation of the contact area, maintaining traction efficiency.
Thanks to the multi-layer carcass, a high degree of protection against deformation is achieved. This factor is the basis for maintaining working characteristics throughout the entire service life.
