The Shinko SR723 scooter tire is unique in many aspects, one of which is its assigned speed rating of P, meaning it is designed for speeds of up to 150 km/h. This is why its design incorporates many solutions borrowed from motorcycle tires, starting from the carcass and ending with the tread pattern.

Size range

This model stands out for its excellent applicability thanks to a fairly extensive size range. It is offered in two versions - for the front and rear wheels. The front tire is available in sizes for wheels with a mounting diameter of 10, 11, and 12 inches, while the rear tire is available exclusively for 12-inch disks.

Multilayer carcass made of synthetic materials

Since this tire was initially developed for powerful scooter equipment, particular attention was paid to its ability to withstand high loads that occur when driving at high speeds. That's why the basis of its design is a multilayer carcass made of synthetic materials. In particular, the cord contains 4 layers of nylon fibers, and the breaker is made of aromatic polyamide. Thanks to this, the carcass is not only lightweight but also has very high mechanical strength and stiffness, which is why the tire demonstrates very stable and reliable behavior at any speed.

Effective tread pattern

The symmetrical directional tread pattern with an original V-shaped design looks no less interesting. Due to the characteristic wide width of all scooter tires, it contains a large number of massive blocks, arranged in three very massive longitudinal ribs. On the one hand, such a design provides excellent directional stability, and on the other hand, it gives the tire excellent grip properties and high braking efficiency on wet roads.
