Tyres Shinko
- Origins: Япония
The Japanese company Shinko, known for its motorcycle tires, was founded back in 1946. Initially, it had a specialization focused on the production of bicycle tires. For a long time, there were no changes in the company. Only the merger with a number of other organizations and the relocation of the plant to the city of Yao allowed for significant progress in the global market. This happened in the 50s of the last century. For several decades, the company produced only bicycle tires, which were distinguished by their quality.
1979 was a key year for the company. It was during this period that the management made a decision to expand the range. Now, under the Shinko brand, motorcycle tires began to be produced. Thanks to the rapid modernization of production, the company was able to produce more than 2.2 million tires per year.
Thanks to the active work of the management, the company was able to enter the Korean and Japanese markets in just one year. This allowed it to further expand its range, which included car tires (1985).
In the 90s, Shinko developed its own cord, which made the products competitive in the European market. In combination with automation and modernization of production capacities, this ensured rapid development of the company. During the same period, a new line for the production of tires for construction and agricultural equipment was opened.
In 1998, the company began to use press forms and the technology of producing motorcycle tires from Yokohama Rubber Co. in its activities. This factor allowed it to further improve the quality of the products offered.
