The Shinko 705 motorcycle tire stands out for its very wide range of applications, which is not surprising given its membership in the "dual-sport" category models. Its primary target audience is owners of so-called "crossovers", i.e. touring motorcycles adapted for movement both on ordinary highways and on off-road. No less incompatible requirements are presented to the tires that are installed on them. From this point of view, the Shinko 705 is a great option, as it is perfectly adapted for both ordinary asphalt roads and off-road.

Universal tread pattern

One of the distinctive features of this model is the original V-shaped directional tread pattern, which is almost identical for both versions of its execution, i.e. for the front and rear wheels.

This tread pattern is characterized by the presence of a large number of individual blocks. Their key features are massive sizes and a shape close to rectangular. Thanks to this, the contact patch has a significant number of gripping edges at any given time. At the same time, due to the massive size of the blocks, it has a large area, which significantly improves traction on the highway. Outside of it, numerous gripping edges come into play, thanks to which the tire demonstrates confident behavior on almost any type of soil cover.

Durable and lightweight carcass

Unlike many competitors, Shinko, when developing this model, preferred to abandon steel in the carcass design. Instead, they used more technologically advanced synthetic materials of a new generation, which possess excellent mechanical strength and are virtually unaffected by high-temperature effects. It is also impossible not to mention their extremely small weight and very low cost, thanks to which the Shinko 705 has an attractive price-to-quality ratio.
