Depending on the version, the Shinko 540 motorcycle tire can be installed on the front or rear wheels of enduro category motorcycles. Another feature of this model is its specialization - it is limited exclusively to off-road with sandy or earthy terrain. At the same time, its excellent applicability cannot be ignored. It is ensured not only by a competent approach to forming a size range but also by the presence of a sufficiently large number of types in it.
Aggressive design of the tread pattern
This model is offered in both versions with an almost identical tread pattern. The only difference in the Shinko 540 is the size of its elements, which is due to the differences in width between the front and rear tires. In the first case, they are significantly smaller.
One of the main features of the tread pattern of this tire is the clear division into separate functional zones - the central part and two shoulder parts. Each of them performs a rather limited range of tasks, ensuring traction in any conditions.
Central part of the tread
This functional zone of the tread pattern provides maximum high traction properties in the longitudinal direction. This is achieved due to the presence of many separate blocks of rectangular or trapezoidal shape, the long edges of which are located transversely to the direction of movement. At the same time, they are combined into groups, each of which consists of two separate elements, which makes the traction edges even longer.
Shoulder zones
In turn, the shoulder zones are designed to provide stability when maneuvering and cornering. In addition, this part of the tread is very useful when overcoming difficult sandy and earthy areas. All these properties are ensured by the presence of a large number of separate blocks of rectangular and trapezoidal shape in the shoulder zones, arranged in a checkerboard pattern.
