The Bridgestone Battlax T31 motorcycle tire is designed for the most dynamic versions of bikes in the "touring" category. It stands out for its improved traction properties on wet surfaces, stability in any driving mode, excellent braking efficiency, and handling precision.
The exceptional stability of these tires is largely due to the use of a 2-layer breaker. It allowed increasing the contact patch and maintaining the constancy of its shape and size during dynamic maneuvering. This significantly reduces tread wear. In its manufacture, a rubber mixture with ultra-high "silica" content and special polymers is applied. This factor increases the tire's grip at low temperatures, allowing for more confident movement on wet roads, as well as increasing the lifespan of the tire.
The shoulder areas are made from a rubber mixture with increased elasticity. This allows for improved traction at maximum bike lean angles. The central part of the tread, made from a compound with increased stiffness, enhances the stability of traction properties on straight sections, reduces the rate of abrasive wear, and allows the tire to more easily withstand prolonged heat exposure.
