The commercial tire Yokohama 126S is designed for long-haul tractors and large-capacity trucks. It is recommended for use on the steering axle. When used in regional transportation, operation on any axle is allowed. It is characterized by reliable coupling properties on wet and snowy roads, fuel efficiency, and high mileage on poor roads.
The tread pattern features a wavy shape of longitudinal grooves. It further reduces the risk of formation of a continuous water film in the contact patch, prevents uneven wear. A similar solution is used in the lamellas, which improve the traction properties on wet surfaces. The shoulder ribs have increased resistance to deformation and larger sizes. This improves directional stability, reduces rolling resistance, and slows down the process of tread wear.
