The tire produced by the Volzhsky tire plant is designed for installation on the wheels of the steering axles of tractors of the MTZ type.
The tire belongs to the category of high-traction tires. This is indicated by the large and powerful tread lugs with sharp edges, which are equipped with the tread pattern of the Voltaire VL-40 tire. The tread lugs have a curved shape and are arranged on the tire tread in a "herringbone" scheme. To use the maximum possible contact area of the tire with the surface, the height of the tread lugs is slightly reduced towards the center of the tread, which significantly increases the traction and adhesion characteristics on soft and rutted soils after precipitation.

The tire carcass gives the tire strength, elasticity, and also helps it to better withstand aggressive mechanical stresses, which are commonplace when operating outside of hard surfaces.
