Description Tyrex All Steel Road FR-2
The commercial tire Tyrex All Steel Road FR-2 is specifically designed for installation on the steering axle of long-haul and regional trucks operating on roads of varying quality. The model is aimed at carriers who value stable handling, high mileage, and wear resistance during intense operation.
Like other models in this line, the All Steel Road in the tire's name reflects a design feature: a fully steel frame consisting of a multi-layer breaker and reinforced sidewalls. This architecture increases stiffness and durability, protecting the tires from deformation under load and mechanical damage. Additionally, the frame is optimized for restoration using the hot retreading method, which extends the service life and reduces ownership costs.
The tire's tread design is executed in a non-directional symmetrical design with five longitudinal ribs, providing precise steering control and high-speed stability. The elements in the central part stabilize the trajectory of movement and contribute to an even distribution of load. The wide shoulder areas with reinforced blocks provide reliable traction during maneuvering and stability during braking.
In the production of the model, a rubber compound based on new-generation synthetic elastomers with the addition of silica and natural oils is used. This formula increases resistance to overheating, reduces rolling resistance, and improves elasticity at low temperatures, which is especially important when working in winter conditions. The compound also has increased resistance to abrasive wear and cracking, ensuring a long service life even on rough surfaces.
Key features of Tyrex All Steel Road FR-2:
- fully steel frame increases strength and repairability;
- silica-based rubber compound resists overheating and abrasive wear;
- deep-tread lamellas provide traction throughout the service life and more even tread wear;
- design adapted for retreaded tread, increasing service life and economic efficiency.
