Block tread pattern
The basis of the tread is a block structure that radically differs from the smooth "highway" ribs. Here, each block works as a separate gripping element. Importantly, the blocks are arranged not chaotically, but in an optimized grid, creating a "toothed gear" effect. This provides excellent grip when accelerating and confident braking, especially on slippery sections. Balance between traction and tread life
All tread blocks are connected by special rigid bridges. At first glance, this limits their freedom, but this is exactly the engineering idea. The bridges perform two critically important functions:
- they dampen excessive block vibrations during manoeuvring and longitudinal accelerations, making the traction characteristics predictable at any speed;
- the blocks fixed by the bridges do not "wobble" under load, which means that wear occurs evenly over the entire area. This directly increases the tyre's mileage and prevents the appearance of stepped wear.
Resistance to cuts and wear
For this model, a special rubber compound with the addition of polymeric modifiers was developed. These components strengthen the intermolecular bonds, increasing resistance to cuts and stretching. In practice, this means that the tyre is not afraid of sharp objects - microcracks do not spread, and abrasive wear is slowed down several times.
