The commercial tyre Sonix SX668 is designed for trucks and large-capacity buses operating on regional and highway routes, including those with dirt roads. It represents a universal model, equally well-suited for any axle, including the trailer axle, distinguished by a combination of stable grip properties and durability.
Stable traction on any axle
A characteristic feature is the closed design of the tread pattern, which is a combination of four continuous longitudinal ribs. This arrangement improves directional stability when driving on highways and makes the vehicle's reactions to steering more precise. Deep longitudinal grooves quickly drain water, reducing the likelihood of hydroplaning, and rigid ribs evenly distribute the load, preventing uneven wear. Additionally, these elements, due to their zigzag shape, provide the tyre with increased performance on loose, unstable surfaces.
Reinforced construction
The range of tyre versions differs not only in size, but also in the number of cord layers in the carcass — 18 or 20. Both options offer high mechanical strength and resistance to deformation. This optimizes the distribution of pressure on the road surface, allowing for maximum use of the entire working surface of the tread. The reinforced carcass allows for repeated restoration of the tread — by re-cutting the pattern or completely replacing it.
Economical in commercial transportation
The tyre also stands out due to the use of a specialized rubber compound. It is adapted to intensive operation on roads with heavily worn asphalt surfaces, retaining a significant part of its performance properties even after a large mileage. The combination of this rubber compound, optimized profile, and tread pattern design substantially reduces transportation costs.
Key features of Sonix SX668:
- universal tread pattern allows the tyre to be used on any axle;
- reinforced radial carcass with up to 20PR execution is designed for intensive operation under high load;
- special rubber compound retains its working properties during prolonged driving, increasing the tread life;
- possibility of using the tyre on dirt roads thanks to additional grooves on the edges of the tread.
