Alceed ALD99 — a commercial vehicle tire featuring a tread design that combines a blocky central area with wide shoulder regions. The tread pattern consists of large polygonal elements separated by winding grooves. Short siped cuts are provided on the surface of the blocks.
Polygonal central blocks
Along the center of the tread runs a row of large, elongated blocks positioned at an angle to the direction of travel. On both sides, these are supplemented by more compact multi-edged elements. This arrangement creates branched gaps and numerous biting edges oriented in different directions.
Wide shoulder areas
At the edges of the tread are wide rubber ribs with narrow transverse sipes. Longitudinal grooves with irregular sidewalls separate them from the central blocks. The shoulder zones have a more solid surface, while the center of the tread is clearly divided into individual elements.
