The model is based on a sturdy carcass using a modern compound that contains a number of additives. The latter provide reliable contact with wet asphalt, as well as reduce abrasive wear. A distinctive feature of the tire is the presence of wavy channels that act as "pumps", quickly removing any amount of water from the contact zone. This achieves maintaining traction with the road surface in any weather.
Three central ribs, supplemented by zigzag notches, provide stability of straight-line movement, as well as improve traction properties (due to numerous micro-grips).
