Tornado GL252T – a commercial tire designed for installation on the trailer axle of cargo transport used for long-distance transportation. The model stands out for its extended service life, minimal rolling resistance, and fuel efficiency.
The tire's tread is represented by six equally sized ribs, forming a wide contact area. A key feature is the even distribution of load across the entire contact area, which reduces wear on individual sectors and increases the tire's lifespan. Each element has lateral notches that actively participate in maintaining traction and towing properties. An important design feature is the deep drainage channels, which serve to divert not only moisture but also heat energy. This maintains an optimal temperature level, contributing to the preservation of the compound's performance. The compound itself is a special composition that includes a range of polymeric compounds, which increase resistance to abrasive wear.
The tire has a minimal number of elements on its surface. This has a positive effect on reducing rolling resistance, leading to optimized fuel efficiency.
Key features of Tornado GL252T:
- applicability on the trailer axle of heavy commercial vehicles;
- pronounced rib structure, forming a large contact area, promotes directional stability;
- deep channels of the drainage system have a special shape, contributing to the efficiency of self-cleaning;
- special compound and minimal number of tread elements reflect on fuel efficiency
