The scope of application of the commercial tire Hankook DL22 is the leading axle of buses used in intercity transportation. It demonstrates the greatest efficiency on high-speed highways. In such conditions, it is characterized by a comfortable, soft and quiet ride, fuel efficiency, and good traction properties.
The tread pattern is V-shaped. Its central part contains a large number of blocks, the shape and arrangement of which allow them to self-lock by relying on each other. This solution increases directional stability, reduces wear and rolling resistance. In the blocks throughout the tread, there are wedge-shaped 3D lamellas. They additionally strengthen the traction and coupling properties on slippery surfaces. Between the shoulder blocks, there are special bridges that limit the mobility of the elements.
