The commercial tire Goodyear KMAX D GEN-2 is designed for highway tractors and large capacity trucks. It is intended for use on drive axles. This is a versatile model, effective in transportation, both for long distances and for "short haul", in urban environments.
The tread pattern is distinguished by a dense arrangement and a large number of individual blocks. Such a design, on the one hand, provides a significant contact patch area, and on the other hand, saturates it with a large number of multidirectional edges. With their help, it is possible to effectively realize traction, especially on wet pavement. The optimized tread profile makes the contact patch wider, reducing pressure on the road surface, thereby increasing the tire's wear resistance and improving its handling.
Key features of Goodyear KMAX D GEN-2
- optimized tread profile and its pattern increase the contact patch, improving traction and resistance to wear;
- dense block arrangement reduces rolling resistance and heat generation during long-distance high-speed driving;
- special rubber compound with increased thermal conductivity and wear resistance increases tire mileage and reduces fuel consumption.
