The Cordiant Professional FR-1 summer tire is installed on the steering axles of trucks. The model is characterized by its versatility in application, as it is suitable for most modern commercial vehicles of medium and large payload capacity, and can be used both on highways and regional roads. The Russian manufacturer offers a wide range of sizes — 8 for wheels with a mounting diameter from 17.5 to 22.5 inches.

Five wide longitudinal ribs increase the contact patch area, and due to the absence of breaks throughout their length, they increase the directional stability and maneuverability. All these elements contain numerous lamellae. They form additional edges that reduce the braking distance on a wet road, and also prevent premature wear of the tread, optimizing the load distribution over the contact patch. The grooves located between the ribs provide stability against aquaplaning.
