The tread of the tire features a large number of lamellas, special knife-like cuts. They are made to half the height of the blocks, giving them additional functionality. These tread elements, when in contact with the road surface, form multiple edges. This allows the tire to demonstrate improved performance when starting, accelerating, and braking, especially on wet pavement. At the same time, the depth of the cut allows the blocks to deflect under load, increasing the size of the contact patch and enabling the tread to better absorb road irregularities.
Effective stone protection
The longitudinal grooves, designed primarily for drainage, also perform other functions due to the presence of additional elements in their design. In particular, special protrusions prevent stones from getting stuck in the tread, minimizing the risk of mechanical damage. This significantly increases the tire's lifespan on poor roads.
Reinforced sidewalls
This model is characterized by high load-carrying capacity, even for its category. This is largely due to the design of the sidewalls, which contain an additional steel cord. All the numerous blocks are arranged longitudinally, and their geometric shapes feature rounded corners and edges. The latter are directed parallel to each other or at a large angle. All this improves fuel efficiency, as well as driving and acoustic comfort.
