The tread of the Bridgestone R294 tire features four longitudinal grooves that provide effective water removal from the contact patch. This ultimately led to the elimination of the hazardous phenomenon of aquaplaning. The tread pattern is designed to provide excellent handling characteristics on both dry roads and wet and damp surfaces. Additionally, the tread pattern contains various elements that prevent uneven wear.
The use of high-quality components in the tread compound also contributes to the good resistance to wear and, consequently, the long service life of the Bridgestone R294 tire.
