The Bridgestone R179 commercial tire is designed for prolonged and intense use on high-speed highways and regional routes. It is installed on the trailer axle. It significantly reduces operating costs due to its high wear resistance, damage resistance, and fuel efficiency.
The tire's design features a reduced amount of rim filler, which allowed the weight of the tire to be reduced by approximately 1.5 kg while maintaining a large tread depth.
