The BFGoodrich Cross Control D commercial tire is designed for trucks and other construction equipment. It is installed on the drive axle. It is distinguished by good traction properties on sandy and rocky terrain, a long service life, and high load-carrying capacity.
The tread part of the tire features an open design of the shoulder zones. The blocks located in them are separated from each other by wide drainage grooves. They prevent the jamming of stones, small soil particles, which is why the tread intensively self-cleans, maintaining efficiency off paved roads. The blocks in the central part, on the other hand, are arranged with high density, which reduces rolling resistance, increases the contact patch, and optimizes the load distribution across it. As a result, on asphalt roads, the tire demonstrates stable traction, fuel efficiency, and allows controlling the traction transmitted to the driving wheels.
