The Kenda K532 tire has a rather specific area of application. This model is designed for use on the front axle of sports quad bikes. Another key feature of this tire is the presence of two versions. The MX modification is designed for operation on soft soils and medium hardness coatings. In turn, the version with the XC abbreviation in the name is suitable for hard coatings with a low level of moisture content. The functional capabilities determine the differences in design: the Klaw MX is equipped with a lightweight 4-layer carcass, and the Klaw XC is equipped with a reinforced 6-layer one.
High-speed stability
The tread pattern of this model is optimized not only for movement on any type of soil coating, but also for maximum stability at high speeds. That's why the profile of its tread has a small width and radius. This significantly increases the pressure on the ground, which contributes to increased traction with it.
In this regard, it is impossible not to note the design of the central part of the tread. It contains a wide longitudinal rib formed from multiple double blocks of arrow-shaped shape. This solution allowed to significantly increase the directional stability, as well as to give the tire's reactions to the driver's actions quickness and accuracy. This makes it much easier to control the quad bike at high speeds.
Lightweight and durable carcass
As mentioned earlier, the design of the carcass in the MX and XC modifications differs in the number of layers. In all other respects, it is fully identical. All layers are made of nylon cord. This artificial material has a low weight, good elasticity, and mechanical strength. At the same time, it is impossible not to note the use of seamless winding technology in the manufacture of the carcass. The absence of seams and joints allowed the nylon fibers to be placed with a very high density, which had a positive effect on a number of operational properties of the tire. First of all, this is the carrying capacity and resistance to punctures and cuts.
