Engineering of the contact patch
Unlike standard tyres with an aggressive tread pattern, the tyre uses the Slick Contact Interface architecture. Managed stiffness
A racing kart experiences colossal lateral loads in turns. To keep the contact patch flat and not "folded", engineers applied the Stiff Sidewall technology. This provides stability when entering a turn and allows the pilot to pass curves at a much higher speed.
Compound secret
The model lacks a mechanical tread pattern, but it has grip. This is achieved due to the special microstructure of the rubber surface. It increases adhesion to the asphalt without traditional grooves. This provides pure grip and instant feedback.
