The company's "firstborn" was the G3 crossover, which was based on the David platform and had front-wheel drive, and could travel over 350 km on a single charge. Note that this figure was later increased to 460 km, which became a good basis for global promotion. An important distinctive feature of the car was the proprietary XPilot automatic piloting system, which is constantly being improved, offering users more and more comfort.

In 2019, the P7 sedan was introduced, which became an analog of the Tesla Model 3. At the same time, the car could travel up to 700 km, and its autopilot belonged to the third generation, i.e., it required minimal driver intervention.

Original Projects

In 2021, the X2 model was presented - an air drone that has the ability to vertically take off and land, and can also carry up to 500 kg of cargo. The company expects that in the near future, such transport will be actively used as automatic "deliveries".

Production Features

At the initial stage, without having its own factory premises, the company used the production capacities of "Haima". At the same time, it carried out the construction of its own plant, which was completed in 2020. Since in China, to obtain a permit for the production of cars, you need to make a lot of effort, XPeng went the other way. It acquired the pickup manufacturer Foday, which already had such a permit. In addition, the company received additional production capacity.

Now the manufacturer is actively developing the direction of autonomous transport management, while releasing new models, some of which have already reached the Russian sector.
