Voyah Dreamer – a premium minivan that was presented by the Chinese manufacturer Dongfeng in 2021. Its full-scale release started in 2022. In our country, the car became available in 2023, but only under the name Dream.

“Exterior”

The minivan stands out with its extraordinary exterior, which is largely formed by a huge radiator grille consisting of many vertical elements. The appearance is complemented by a squat profile, LED optics, and the presence of chrome elements that emphasize the car's status.

Technical features

The ESSA platform, which was previously used in the creation of the Voyah Free crossover, became the basis for the new product. This was reflected in some technical aspects. For example, the cabin features the same 3 screens that form a single system. However, unlike the crossover, they cannot be "retracted" inside. The premium nature of the model is felt even in the basic equipment.
For instance, pneumatic elements are provided in the suspension, which change the stiffness of the shock absorbers depending on the road surface, which is tracked by a special camera. However, they cannot change the clearance, which can be either 150 or 133 mm (depending on the configuration). The multimedia system is equipped with a voice assistant of the latest generation, through which you can control numerous functions. Moreover, it is constantly updated via the "cloud" service, which allows you to receive new functions and expand the existing "arsenal".

Among the equipment, it is possible to highlight the adaptive cruise control with a lane-keeping function, as well as a three-zone climate control, for which a separate touch screen is provided.

In the basic configuration, the cabin can accommodate up to 7 people, and the middle row is equipped with captain's chairs with heating, ventilation, and massage functions. However, in the top configuration, only 4 seats are provided. On the other hand, for rear passengers, a large retractable screen, a refrigerator, a separate screen for controlling functions, and seats with improved ergonomics are provided.

Power units

The minivan is offered in two versions: a serial hybrid and an electric vehicle.
For the hybrid system, a 1.5-liter gasoline engine is provided, which acts as a generator for the battery, the capacity of which is 26.5 kW. The battery powers two electric motors, one on each axis. Their total power is 395 hp and 610 Nm of torque. In electric mode only, the car can travel up to 82 km. And with a full tank, the distance is 720 km.

The electric version is represented by two toruses, which produce a total power of 436 hp and 620 Nm. For their power, an 82 kW and 108.7 kW battery is provided. The range on a single charge is 475 km in the first case and 605 km in the second. This version also has an additional trunk under the hood.
