Voyah Free – a full-fledged crossover from Lantu, which is one of the divisions of the Chinese concern Dongfeng. The model was presented in 2020, and its conveyor production started in 2021.

Powertrains

The car can be either fully electric or equipped with a hybrid powertrain. The electric car is equipped with two engines (one on each axle), which have a total power of 488 horsepower and 750 Nm. The hybrid is based on a 1.5-liter engine, the main task of which is to charge a 33 kW/h battery. The latter powers two electric motors. The total power of such a powertrain is 693 horsepower. Thanks to the lower weight (due to the reduced battery), such a car can reach the first "hundred" in 4.5 seconds. An important feature is the ability to travel up to 170 km on electric traction alone.

Platform and its features

The platform offers a fairly standard suspension: double-wishbone at the front and multi-link at the rear. Its main feature is the presence of pneumatic elements. Thanks to them, it is possible to change the clearance within the range of 128-208 mm. In addition to improving off-road capability, for example, on loose snow, its energy intensity is significantly improved. Therefore, even driving on uneven terrain will not be felt in the car's cabin. We immediately note that the car is not intended for off-road use, so at speeds above 40 km/h, the suspension automatically lowers to the optimal level (if it was raised to the maximum point).

Equipment

The equipment of even the base version is distinguished by its richness. Here you will find a huge number of various assistants that provide a high level of safety and comfort. Among the specific "pluses" can be noted a folding front panel, an electrochromic panoramic roof that can change its transparency, an aroma generator with three operating modes.
