The Solaris HC was released in early 2024, along with a number of other models from the Russian brand. The car was a subcompact crossover, one of the variants of the Hyundai Creta second generation of 2021.

Distinguishing Features

Like the original model, the car is almost identical in its exterior design to the global version of the crossover, differing only in bumpers, a radiator grille, as well as a modified fifth door with additional rear light sections and a stop signal on the upper spoiler. And, as before, it stands out with very modest dimensions, offering a wheelbase of 2630 mm, which, nevertheless, did not prevent the reduction of the fuel tank volume to 50 liters, 5 liters less than that of the previous generation car. Another "borrowing" from the first-generation crossover was the chassis with "MacPherson" struts at the front and a semi-dependent beam, or "multi-link" at the rear, depending on the presence of a four-wheel drive system. With such components, the ground clearance is 190 mm.

The interior design was almost entirely borrowed from the Indian version of the crossover with a large number of analog buttons and switches. Already in the initial configuration, the interior features a multimedia system with an 8-inch screen and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto functions. The top versions of the crossover were much better equipped, featuring a panoramic roof with a sliding section, an 8-channel Bose audio system, an electric handbrake, as well as a more advanced multimedia system with a 10.25-inch display, simultaneous connection of two gadgets, and remote access to car settings from a smartphone.

As before, the engine range consists of two "atmospheric" 4-cylinder engines - 1.6 liters and 2 liters, developing 123 and 150 hp, respectively. The least powerful versions have the option to choose between 6-speed manual and automatic transmissions, while the 2-liter engine was only paired with an "automatic". Any combination of power unit and transmission was combined with both front-wheel and all-wheel drive. In addition to this, the most expensive versions offered the option to choose from several operating modes of electronic systems - Eco, Normal, and Sport. However, in all trim levels, the crossover used discs and tires with a mounting diameter of 16 inches.
