The Maxus Interstellar L pickup debuted in the production lineup of the Chinese SAIC conglomerate in the summer of 2023. Unlike the previous model, which could have an "automatic", only a manual transmission was available for both modifications - a 5-speed for the "gasoline" and a 6-speed for the "diesel". Depending on the trim level, the pickup offered rear-wheel drive or four-wheel drive, implemented according to the "part-time" scheme with mechanical connection of the front axle.
