Tires on Ferrari (Феррари)

Ferrari SpA is a manufacturer of luxury sports cars. Founded in 1939, the company is based in Maranello, Italy. The first car of the brand was built in 1940, and road models appeared in 1947. From 1963 to 2014, the company was part of the Fiat group, and then for two years it was part of Fiat Chrysler. In 2016, the company was spun off from the division of this concern.

History of origin

In 1929, Enzo Ferrari, a former Alfa Romeo racing driver and car salesman, founded his own racing team, Scuderia Ferrari. Initially, the project was aimed at wealthy car enthusiasts who could afford to participate in races. But after Alfa Romeo left motorsport in 1933, Enzo Ferrari used the remaining connections in the company to maintain its presence on the racing tracks, albeit unofficially. Alfa Romeo supplied racing cars, on which several top drivers of the time won numerous championships and continued to do so until the team was disbanded in 1937. Disagreements between Enzo Ferrari and Alfa Romeo's management forced him to found his own car manufacturing company in 1939. It was called Auto Avio Costruzioni, as the agreement signed with Alfa Romeo did not allow the use of the Ferrari name for another four years. Before World War II, the company built only one racing car, which managed to appear on the track only once. Until its completion, it was engaged in the production of aircraft engines and machines for the Italian army. This product was extremely profitable and allowed the company to obtain the means for further development. It also served as the reason for the move to Maranello. Despite this, the enterprise was twice bombed by the Allied aviation in 1943, but nevertheless remains there to this day.

Ferrari today

Currently, the company offers a wide range of models. Its lineup includes several supercars, luxury sports coupes, and one crossover. Many Ferrari cars released in the 1950s and 1960s are considered one of the most expensive vehicles ever sold at auctions. The combination of cars with exceptionally high technical characteristics and striking design, a large number of financially secure brand fans, and extremely competent licensing activities have made the company one of the most recognizable brands in the world. Additionally, these factors determine the high market capitalization. As of May 2023, Ferrari was valued at $52 billion. It's no wonder that the brand's products often require the use of the most high-tech tires, designed for use under extremely high loads. It is these models, specially developed for Ferrari and approved by the manufacturer for use in its cars, that are present in the online catalog of the company "Mosavtoshina".
