Michelin clearly focused on driving qualities on dry and wet asphalt, which allowed their tires to receive high ratings and take third place in the overall standings. The tires dominated in all asphalt tests, which is partly due to the lack of lamellar reinforcement. At the same time, this feature had a negative impact on the snow performance, where Michelin lagged behind competitors in all disciplines. On a snowy road, you need to drive slowly and carefully, so it can't be said that Michelin managed to achieve the necessary balance of parameters.
Pirelli has no obvious weaknesses, but it didn't excel in any of the tests either. The manufacturer has well-balanced characteristics, however, overall Pirelli only has average performance. Additionally, these are quite expensive tires.
Uniroyal belongs to the mid-range segment and still demonstrates the best braking on a wet road. They also have high resistance to aquaplaning, but in other tests, the tires regularly took last place. At the same time, these are tires from a second-line brand, so their price is significantly lower than that of other all-season tires.
