I bought these tires to replace my Yokohama ones. Unfortunately, the prices of new Yokohamas are quite high now, but I don't regret my purchase. Yes, there are some nuances, but they are quite tolerable. Would I buy them again or recommend them to others? Probably yes, but only if you know all the pros and cons and make your own decision.

The tires balanced relatively well for their price, and I didn't have to adjust them much during installation. The product is not curved, and it has a straight and correct shape.

My first impressions were formed during winter without snow.

I immediately noticed the low noise level from the wheels at city speeds, my previous Goodyear tires were much louder on asphalt.

The first month was spent driving on dry or wet asphalt, and then I encountered icy roads. In these conditions, the tires performed very well, they are comfortable and provide good traction on such surfaces, but when increasing speed, I felt a lack of confidence, as if the tires were holding the road but might lose grip at any moment, although this didn't happen.

When the snow arrived, I noticed the tires' characteristics:

they drive normally on snow, don't slip much, and can easily get out of snowy slush (road mud with snow) and also get into it as if there was no snow at all. Although maybe I've been driving for too long and just know how to drive in such conditions, but the Taurus tires do help to avoid slipping. They handle snow well.

The lack of studded tires is sometimes felt in areas where snow lies on ice. The car has great difficulty holding on to unrolled fresh snow at speeds above 60 km/h, and I almost lost control a couple of times, so I don't want to drive fast in such weather, only calmly.

Despite the declared softness, the tires seem quite durable to me. After driving over many potholes in deep puddles, I didn't get any bulges or damage to the disc.

And about puddles. Yes, the tires are not summer tires at all, and not all-season tires, apparently due to the special tread pattern, they "float" terribly in deep puddles. It feels like the traction with the asphalt is completely lost, and you want to leave the water surface as soon as possible. Note that I'm not talking about wet asphalt, wet asphalt is handled quite well and predictably on these tires.

At 150 km/h, the tires hold the asphalt perfectly, without any drift. You can change lanes calmly. But it gets very loud in the cabin after 100 km/h, you have to shout to be heard.

The verdict is as follows: I know better tires, but considering the low cost, this one has fully positive qualities, it is an order of magnitude better than Russian analogs, and its appearance alone inspires confidence. BUT, according to my subjective and not only estimates, this product is more suitable for city driving. If you drive in bad weather outside the city, or if the city services haven't cleared WET (at a temperature of 0 ... -5) snow before your trip, it's better not to hurry and drive carefully, otherwise, you might lose control, and the tires will take you somewhere or into someone. If your budget is not fixed at the level of $80 per tire, it's better to take Finnish winter tires, you know which brand, they will undoubtedly be better, I've checked.

Very good tires, which was not initially expected. The choice was partly influenced by the fact that they are "relatives" of Michelin. Given that I haven't driven on winter tires in a long time, I expected problems on snow and ice, but that didn't happen once. Yes, they may not brake on ice like on dry road, but that's a question of the reasonableness of choosing speed on such a surface. On snow, there are also no complaints - they confidently hold the road and smoothly gain speed. The tires are not noisy, quite soft.

Excellent tires, soft and comfortable. Handling and braking on ice, like other friction tires. Out of a set of four tires, two were balanced perfectly at 10-20 grams, and two had a weight of 50 and 80 grams, taking into account re-balancing after running-in. Possible defect or improper storage.
