On Omega SC900 (studded) they scrape great. Ice and snow are no problem for them. But regarding slush, I agree - not very good. On dry asphalt, it skids very insignificantly. I recommend Okatal for two seasons.

Good for snow, but noisy.

I've been driving for 3 years on such tires on the V4 Passat. For snow, it's super, without any conversation. In the countryside, nowhere, never, not once did I get stuck! Tires are more for loose snow than for slush. I rode on these for 2.5 seasons - was very pleased. Now I've bought winter directional tires. On slush, the car started going better, but on snow - worse.
