However there is still plenty of tread left on the tyres after 15,000 km but the sidewalls have failed catastrophically at around 1,000 km intervals. Never again and I've been told I'm not the only one.

These tires are great to start with, but around 1,000 miles they start to lose their front to back grip, so starting the car on wheels hop. Lateral grip is excellent, and cornering is great with them, but they are not for drag racing. They resist aquaplaning very well and grip is nice on wet pavement. Anything below 50 degrees - don't miss. They'll stretch and lose grip in the cold, snow, or ice.

Excellent on wet and snow. Also excellent in dry conditions, but maybe not so sticky on the edge in the mountains... Great durability!

Two front tires need to be replaced, but Potenza is pretty pricey. I'd like to keep the same brand, though.

A very good tire - compared to the Bridgestone RE050A (very bad) and Falken ZE512 (average). It is on the same level (wet and dry) as the above two.
