American treaded tires. Despite the treads and "aggressive" tread design, they don't make more noise, it might even be less than usual. On the road they behave pleasantly and predictably. For 3 seasons of use (mainly asphalt of varying snow coverage) not a single tread has blown off (!), and almost no uneven wear is visible.

Excellent tire. I have a studded one. Before this, I had Nokian V+, heaven and earth. But I found an alternative, it doesn't like a groove, the rear axle remains loaded. My car is GW Hover, maybe it's the same for everyone with a rear-wheel drive, but it rides smoothly on the rails. I recommend.

I was looking for tires with a "bad" tread. There were not many options. I chose Hercules. The driving experience was just as I expected. It's good on snow, it's doing great. Good tire. Comfortable and confident handling on a variety of winter surfaces. Not surprisingly - is not noisy (no more than others, and even less despite the aggressive tread design). Grips very well, so on soft and deep snow you need to moderate acceleration to avoid diving in. Load range - medium. Manufacturer is not Canadian. Tire is branded USA. I looked up on the internet - same factory that makes the Cooper.

I can confirm it is a very good tire. I couldn't confirm if it's noisy, as the opposite seemed to be the case. It felt softer and quieter than last summer's Yokohama, despite the aggressive tread pattern. I had the studded version. It's a real winner in snow and ice, and it doesn't slide on asphalt (not quite, but very mild). It handles well in motion, and it's excellent on a slushy mix. I've used it

Excellent tires!!! Really happy! Great characteristics for a relatively low price. Great stability even on open ice, confident driving on wet snow in thawing conditions, withstand impacts on icy road humps and after 5 months of intensive use in both urban and rural areas, it never let me down. A bit increased fuel consumption, but that's just a small price to pay for the given model's traction and stability.
