Nokian Tyres plant in Romania reached the million milestone in its first year of operation

Just a few months after starting full-scale production, Nokian Tyres' factory in Oradea, Romania, has demonstrated impressive efficiency, releasing its millionth passenger car tire this year on December 20. This result, which corresponds to the annual plan, highlights the strategic importance of the Romanian enterprise for servicing the European market.

President and CEO Paolo Pompei highly appreciated the team's harmonious work, stating that this million is direct evidence of the company's willingness not only to increase volumes but also to deliver innovative, safe products. The anniversary tire, Nokian Tyres Snowproof 2, refers to the company's over 90-year heritage as a pioneer in the development of winter tires, providing European drivers with uncompromising comfort and safety.
