Released Point S truck tires
Point S, one of the world's largest auto service networks, officially introduced a line of truck tires under its own brand at the Solutrans exhibition in Lyon, France, "confirming a long-term commitment to development in the freight segment".
The company is a major seller of truck tires in Europe and North America, and in the first case, truck tire maintenance services are offered at more than half of the points of sale, and Point S brand tires, as reported, are suitable for re-grooving and tread renewal, making them a more profitable purchase.
"By expanding the range under its own brand, which already includes passenger car tires, Point S will be able to offer customers around the world a full range of products, which will allow them to service their fleets more efficiently," the company says.
Point S Regional Hail tires for regional transportation were presented, which, as noted, have increased strength and 3PMSF marking in all sizes, making them a universal solution; as well as Point S Mixed Service for mixed operating conditions, which were also optimized to improve reliability and, for example, equipped with stone ejection elements. Both lines include tires for all axles of tractors and trailers.
The tires are available in eight key sizes, such as 385/65R22.5, 315/70R22.5 and 315/80R22.5, and will be produced in Poland and Turkey by an unnamed manufacturer. Point S points out that thanks to the consolidated logistics system of the partner, customers will be able to place orders from both sites as a single order, which will improve flexibility and efficiency.

According to Fabien Bouquet, General Director of Point S International, the launch of the truck tire line is important as the company intends to provide customers with more comprehensive solutions in the future. "Transport professionals need tires with a high level of efficiency and durability, offered at an attractive price, and the new line meets all these requirements," he said. "For us, this is also an important step in implementing a long-term strategy to strengthen our position in the freight sector".
Emilie Faure, Product Manager at Point S International, responsible for the development of own brands, added that "from the very beginning, our goal was to repeat the success of the Point S passenger car line in the truck tire market".
Faure also said that selected members of Point S and some customers with small and medium-sized fleets from different countries were involved in testing the new tires, and "the first feedback was exceptionally positive, and especially the operational characteristics of the tires in real-world conditions made a big impression".
