The author of the new Pirelli calendar has been chosen

The author of the 52nd Pirelli calendar will be photographer and director Sølve Sundsbø, who uses both cutting-edge technology and old-fashioned methods and has previously worked for numerous fashion magazines.

According to Sundsbø, when he found out that Pirelli had chosen him to shoot the new calendar, he "was excited about all the possibilities that opened up and at the same time intimidated by the fact that he would be in the pantheon of great photographers who had worked on this project before".

So far, Sundsbø has not revealed the concept of the new calendar and only noted that "he wanted to create a visually unexpected world. A world that captures and establishes a connection with the viewer on an emotional level". "We've put together a fantastic team, and we have an incredible lineup of models. I'm looking forward to when we all get together to create this world together", he said.

The first Pirelli calendar was introduced in 1964 as an exclusive gift to the company's customers and partners.
