Kama bicycle tires have been awarded

Kama Tyres received a diploma of the II degree in the nomination "Best project/technical solution in import substitution" for organizing the production of bicycle tires. The award ceremony was held within the framework of the contest, which is traditionally held as part of the Tatarstan Oil, Gas and Chemistry Forum and Exhibition Kazan Oil, Gas&Chemistry.

The production of bicycle tires in Nizhnekamsk was launched at the beginning of last year as part of the implementation of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation's assignment and with the aim of providing Russian bicycle manufacturers with domestic tires. The tire models under the name of Kama Velta were developed by specialists of the Scientific and Technical Center "Kama" with regard to world standards and are suitable for various types of bicycles, including city and children's bikes. Currently, five product lines are available, and tires are offered in a total of 34 sizes with a landing diameter from 14 to 29 inches.

The diploma was awarded to the Director of PJSC "Nizhnekamskshina" Fail Minnegaliyev by the Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan Oleg Korobchenko, who noted that "we award enterprises for projects, technical solutions. I am very glad that every year you give creative suggestions and our exhibition becomes one of the best".

The contest of innovative projects and technical solutions within the framework of the forum is held annually. This time, applications in eight nominations were submitted by about 40 companies (78 applications), and their largest number was related to import substitution.
